Job summary

Doubletree by Hilton Austin is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Associate to maintain clean and safe guest rooms and public areas. You will clean bathrooms, change linens, dust and vacuum, replenish amenities, and ensure rooms are ready for guests.

The role requires teamwork, reliable attendance, and adherence to cleaning procedures. The position offers a supportive work environment with opportunities to contribute to a high-standard guest experience and grow within HEI Hospitality’s extended

Qualifications

• Must be a team player and willing to pitch in to help coworkers.
• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extend arms over head to perform cleaning tasks.
• Knowledge of cleaning agents and proper operation of cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floors in guest rooms.
• Strip beds and make beds, change linens up to 50 lbs.
• Dust furniture, pictures, shelves, and window ledges.
• Vacuum rooms and empty trash.
• Replenish amenities and linens in guest rooms.
• Handle room keys, retrieve and restock equipment.
• Maintain attendance and be available to work regularly.

NoOverviewMaintain the hotel rooms and building to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates, and vendors.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe following are specific contributions that must be developed during the training program in order to successfully complete the program and be placed in a hotel with or without reasonable accommodation:• Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending, and stooping.• Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.• Strip beds and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.• Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.• Push and pull vacuum throughout the entire room and empty trash.• Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.• Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart.
