Job summary

The Doubletree by Hilton Austin is seeking an Assistant Director of Finance to support the hotel’s financial leadership, safeguard assets, and prepare GAAP-compliant reports in alignment with HEI Standards.

Responsibilities include overseeing A/R, cash flow, and balance sheet reconciliations while coordinating budgeting, scheduling, and staff supervision. Strong Excel skills and accounting experience are essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Accounting required with hotel or hospitality finance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hotel financial statements and reconciliations of A and L accounts.
• Analytical, detail-oriented with strong administrative and managerial skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and effective verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director of Finance in directing the hotel's financial activities and preparing GAAP-compliant reports.
• Schedule, monitor, and evaluate controllable expenditures and labor/purchasing controls.
• Manage Accounts Receivable, cash flow, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Identify and train management candidates; supervise accounting staff and related duties.
