Job summary

Four Seasons Resort O’ahu at Ko Olina in Hawaii is seeking a Temporary Full-Time Server with a passion for excellence and the spirit of aloha. The Server reports to the Five-One-Six Manager and delivers attentive, courteous service to guests at the resort's rooftop venue.

Responsibilities include describing beverages with engaging detail, communicating orders to bartenders, anticipating guest needs, handling payments, and maintaining a clean setup.

Qualifications

• Two years cocktail server or related work preferred.
• Luxury hotel experience is a plus.
• Able to carry and balance a tray.
• Able to accurately process cash & credit card transactions.

Responsibilities

• Describe beverage menu to guests by offering interesting and vivid descriptions of each item's origin, taste, and preparation method.
• Communicate guests' orders including any special needs or requests to the bartenders using the point of sales systems.
• Anticipate guests needs, offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns.
• Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments and properly settle voided or complimentary drinks.
• Breakdown, clean and set up tables, chairs, menus.
