Job summary

SRS Building Products - Yuma is seeking a material handler to load, unload, and transport roofing materials to rooftops at residential and commercial sites, while upholding safety and service standards.

The role requires physical fitness, ability to work at heights, and strict adherence to OSHA guidelines. Requires a High School Diploma; forklift certification is preferred; Spanish is a plus. Competitive benefits and weekly pay offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to pass criminal and driving background checks, plus a pre-employment drug test.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Proficient in verbal and written English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks using manual and mechanical methods.
• Ensure safety guidelines and OSHA regulations are followed.
• Distribute materials onto flat and sloped roofs per safety guidelines.
• Operate conveyor belt systems where trained and certified.
• Accurately verify and reconcile material orders.
• Provide exceptional service to roofing contractors.
• Coordinate loading/unloading with drivers and team members.
