Job summary

SRS Building Products in Redding, CA is seeking a Loader/Unloader to move roofing materials on rooftops and at delivery points. You will load/unload from trucks, follow OSHA and company safety guidelines, and work with drivers to ensure efficient distribution of materials.

Responsibilities include operating conveyors where certified, verifying orders, and delivering excellent service to roofing contractors. A high school diploma is required; forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to pass criminal and driving background checks and a pre-employment drug test.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication in English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks using manual and mechanical methods.
• Ensure that all safety guidelines and procedures are followed.
• Facilitate the safe and effective distribution of materials onto flat and sloped roofs per safety guidelines.
• Operate conveyor belt systems (where trained and certified) to transport building materials from flatbed trucks to rooftops.
• Accurately verify and reconcile material orders.
• Provide exceptional service to roofing contractors.
• Adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
• Work closely with drivers and other team members to coordinate loading/unloading.
