Job summary

SRS Building Products - Round Rock is seeking a Rooftop Loader to load, unload, and move roofing materials from trucks to rooftops, coordinating with drivers and following safety rules. You will operate conveyor systems where trained, check orders, assist with scaffolding, inspect equipment, and support branch operations while working outdoors on varied roof pitches.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 80-100 lbs repeatedly.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Pass criminal and driving background checks and a pre-employment drug test.
• Work outdoors on roofs and use PPE such as harnesses and safety boots.
• Read and follow work orders and shipping documents.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks using manual and mechanical methods, ensuring items are handled with care to prevent damage.
• Follow safety guidelines, assist in assembling scaffolding, inspect equipment, and report problems.
• Distribute materials onto flat and sloped roofs while protecting workers and property.
• Operate conveyor belt systems (where trained) to transport materials from trucks to rooftops and maintain flow for timelines.
• Verify and reconcile material orders, ensuring correct quantities and maintaining inventory records.
• Provide excellent service to roofing contractors by addressing material needs and inquiries.
• Adhere to OSHA safety regulations and PPE usage to maintain a safe job-site environment.
• Collaborate with drivers and team members to optimize loading/unloading and support branch operations.
