Job summary

SRS Building Products in Salt Lake City, UT seeks a physically capable Materials Handler to load and unload roofing materials, transport them to rooftops, and ensure accurate orders. You’ll work outdoors on roofs and must follow safety guidelines, use PPE, and cooperate with drivers and teammates.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent and be able to pass background checks. OSHA compliance and safety awareness are essential, with potential overtime during peak periods.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work at heights.
• Pass criminal/driving background checks and pre-employment drug test.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roofing materials from trucks.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Distribute materials onto roofs per safety rules.
• Operate conveyor belt systems where trained.
• Verify and reconcile material orders.
• Provide excellent service to roofing contractors.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and company protocols.
• Coordinate loading/unloading with drivers and team.
