Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Roofer Materials Handler responsible for loading/unloading roofing materials from delivery trucks and moving them to rooftops while adhering to safety standards.

You will work with drivers to coordinate loading, operate basic conveyor systems where trained, and verify orders. Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and pass background/drug checks; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs and work outdoors at heights.
• Authorized to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship.
• Proficient in verbal and written English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to pass criminal and driving background checks, along with a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks using manual and mechanical methods.
• Ensuring that all safety guidelines and procedures are followed.
• Facilitate the safe and effective distribution of materials onto flat and sloped roofs as per company safety guidelines.
• Operate conveyor belt systems (where trained and certified) to transport building materials from flatbed trucks to rooftops.
• Accurately verify and reconcile material orders.
• Provide exceptional service to roofing contractors.
• Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
• Work closely with drivers and other team members to coordinate efficient loading and unloading processes.
