Job summary

SRS Building Products - Tucson is hiring for a Rooftop Loader to load, unload, and transport roofing materials at residential and commercial sites in Tucson. You will work closely with drivers, help assemble scaffolding, and operate conveyor systems in a safety‑driven role.

The position requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and OSHA‑aligned safety practices. Compensation includes competitive pay and benefits; standard Monday–Friday schedules with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to pass criminal and driving background checks and a pre-employment drug test.
• Physical stamina to lift 80–100 lbs and work at heights.
• Ability to read work orders and follow instructions.
• Experience with roofing materials handling and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks using manual and mechanical methods.
• Follow safety guidelines, assemble scaffolding, inspect equipment and report issues.
• Distribute materials onto roofs per safety guidelines, protecting workers and property.
• Operate conveyor belt systems to move materials from trucks to rooftops.
• Verify and reconcile material orders and document inventory movements.
• Provide excellent service to roofing contractors and respond to inquiries.
• Wear PPE and follow OSHA regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
• Coordinate with drivers and team members to optimize loading/unloading.
• Assist safety assessments by inspecting delivery sites and aiding vehicle maneuvering.
