Job summary

SRS Building Products - Tucson is seeking a Rooftop Loader to load, unload and transport building materials to and from rooftops on residential and commercial sites. You will work closely with drivers, use conveyors where certified, and follow OSHA and company safety protocols to protect workers and customer property.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and experience with ladders/roofs, with occasional overtime and local travel within the branch area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Experience with material handling and safety protocols.
• Ability to read work and shipping orders.
• Proficient in English, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks using manual and mechanical methods.
• Follow safety guidelines and assist in scaffolding assembly as needed.
• Distribute materials onto roofs while protecting workers and property.
• Operate conveyor belt systems where trained to move materials to rooftops.
• Verify orders and document inventory movements.
• Provide courteous service to roofing contractors and respond to inquiries.
• Adhere to OSHA and PPE requirements at all times.
• Coordinate with drivers and team members to optimize loading/unloading.
