Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking a physically capable Material Handler for rooftop loading and unloading of roofing materials at the Olathe site.

You will load materials from trucks, secure them on rooftops, and hand off to crews while following company safety standards and OSHA guidelines. Primary duties include loading equipment, verifying orders, and coordinating with drivers to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass criminal and driving background checks and a pre-employment drug test.
• Proficient in verbal and written English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks.
• Follow safety guidelines and OSHA regulations.
• Distribute materials onto roofs as per safety guidelines.
• Operate conveyor belt systems where trained and certified.
• Verify and reconcile material orders.
• Provide exceptional service to roofing contractors.
• Coordinate with drivers and team members to optimize loading/unloading.
