Job summary

SRS Building Products - Lindon in Lindon, UT is hiring a Roofer Materials Loader to load, unload, and transport roofing materials to rooftops on residential and commercial sites, while upholding safety and outstanding customer service. The role requires physical fitness, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and outdoor work at heights.

Expect adherence to OSHA guidelines, coordination with drivers, and potential overtime based on delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be physically able to lift up to 100 lbs and operate equipment.
• Able to work outdoors on flat and sloped rooftops in varying weather.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Good verbal and written English; Spanish is a plus.
• Pass background checks and pre-employment drug test.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks using manual and mechanical methods.
• Ensure safety guidelines and procedures are followed.
• Distribute materials onto roofs (flat and sloped) according to safety guidelines.
• Operate conveyor belt systems where trained to move materials from trucks to rooftops.
• Verify and reconcile material orders accurately.
• Provide exceptional service to roofing contractors.
• Adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
• Coordinate with drivers and team to optimize loading/unloading.
