Job summary

Soul Community Planet (SCP) is hiring a Bartender/Server for the Rooftop Bar at SCP Redmond. This part-time role offers regular hours with benefits, $16 per hour plus tips, and a lively, guest-focused work environment.

As a master mixologist and team player, you will engage guests, present menus, balance duties, and ensure compliance with safety and state liquor laws. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with urgency and empathy.
• Valid Driver’s License
• 1 year of bartending experience
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Positive customer-first attitude.
• Proactive problem-solver and process-improver.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Must have State Alcohol Server Certification.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, even when busy.
• Maintain positive guest relations and resolve complaints.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Greet guests and introduce menu options.
• Plan drink menus and inform customers about specials.
• Take orders from guests and staff as required.
• Maintain and clean the bar area and equipment.
• Mix ingredients, garnish drinks, and serve beverages.
• Check IDs to ensure legal age for alcohol.
• Manage inventory and supplies for bar and tables.
• Handle cash and card transactions and balance till.
