Job summary

Ellis Island Casino, Hotel & Brewery is seeking a Bartender (Rooftop Bar) in Las Vegas, NV. You will craft cocktails, pour beer, and provide elevated service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a focus on presentation and guest experience.

The role requires at least 3 years of bartending in a casino or fast-paced bar, 21+ age, cash handling, and knowledge of health and sanitation. In-person, evenings and weekends required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 21+ age required.
• 3+ years bartending experience in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to make cocktails.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation practices.
• Cash handling experience and basic math skills.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interact with guests and team members in a friendly, outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Craft and serve high-quality cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits with precision and consistency.
• Deliver refined, engaging, and personalized service to each guest, anticipating their needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times.
• Possess deep knowledge of the cocktail menu, wine list, and premium spirit offerings.
• Follow all opening, closing, and side work procedures with attention to detail.
• Accurately handle cash, credit cards, and POS transactions.
• Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Support barbacks and other team members to ensure seamless service.
• Remain composed and efficient during peak service periods and rooftop events.
• Represent the brand with professionalism and style, embodying the elevated guest experience we strive to deliver.
