Job summary

CSG Talent in Chicago is seeking an experienced Field Superintendent to oversee commercial roofing crews across multiple jobsites, coordinating scheduling, supervision, and quality control to meet project specifications. You will drive production, ensure safety adherence and maintain thorough project documentation.

Collaborating with foremen, you’ll train crews on safety best practices, monitor expenditures, coordinate inspections, and report progress to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Commercial roofing experience, 5+ years required.
• Supervisory experience, 2+ years required.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and compliance.

Position Overview:
The position of Field Superintendent is responsible for scheduling and supervising commercial production and service roofing crews on multiple jobsites and locations. This position manages projects from start to finish, ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship, quality and production.
Position Responsibilities:

• Schedule and supervise roofing field operations with daily worksite visits to ensure project specifications are met.
• Regularly inspect work progress, equipment and jobsites to ensure all work order details and safety protocols are followed.
• Work closely with Production foremen to train roofing field staff with an emphasis on safety and employee development.
• Maintain documentation of projects, identifying variances, monitor expenditures and implement corrective action when necessary.
• Coordinate inspections from manufacturers and governing authorities, as needed.
• Communicate with Operations Manager regularly on work progress.
• Conduct materials inventory as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned.
