Are you a field supervisor interested in joining a successful commercial roofing operation?

Do you have experience leading and directly managing several field crews on commercial roofing projects.

A well known commercial roofing contractor based in the upper Midwest are looking to expand on their Wisconsin location and are looking for a field superintendent to oversee projects and oversee commercial and industrial projects across Wisconsin and the surrounding states.

The company are best known for large scale commercial and industrial projects and have work all over the East coast and Midwest with immediate plans to strategically expand. Their current need is for highly experienced commercial roofing foremen and superintendents who have extensive field leadership experience to join them and help them tackle some exciting projects they have lined up for this year. This role comes with a lot of growth potential and opportunity to progress through the business as the company continues to grow and you'll be part of a tight knit team who have been well established in the market for several years.

This is an ideal opportunity for a Foreman, Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent who is looking to take a step forward and work on some big projects with a successful company.

Responsibilities

• Lead roofing projects from planning through completion, defining scope, objectives, timelines, and stakeholder communication.
• Coordinate with sales, estimators, and operations teams to ensure accurate project design and smooth project startup.
• Manage field staff schedules, timecards, staffing allocation, and onsite resource requirements.
• Monitor project progress, track performance against KPIs, and ensure deadlines and quality standards are achieved.
• Order materials and equipment, coordinate deliveries, and schedule subcontractors including roof vacuum services.
• Conduct roof surveys, site assessments, measurements, and data collection to support project planning and execution.
• Act as the primary liaison between field teams, office staff, clients, and stakeholders, providing updates and resolving issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, permits, safety procedures, and project specifications at all times.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, assist with punch lists and reports, provide technical support, and address customer concerns as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience supervising field operations within the roofing or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing and construction practices, safety procedures, and onsite operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and project management software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, customer service, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work safely in varying environmental and weather conditions, including safe ladder use.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel between project sites as required.
• (Preferred) Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Field Supervisor.
• $75,000 - $100,000 (depends on experience)
