Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on Roofing Superintendent to oversee 6-8 active roofing projects across Los Angeles County and surrounding markets. You will supervise residential roofing installations, coordinate field operations, and serve as the main point of contact for homeowners and crews.

The ideal candidate has strong residential roofing experience, can manage multiple projects, and make field decisions with limited oversight. Spanish a plus. Salary up to $110,000 with a company truck and gear.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary field contact for homeowners and crews.
• Manage material deliveries, equipment, and site logistics.
• Document changes and support change orders as needed.
• Maintain communication between field teams and office.
• Ensure work meets quality standards and manufacturer specs.
• Maintain safe, organized, and professional sites.

Job Details

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee approximately 6-8 active roofing projects simultaneously throughout Los Angeles County and surrounding markets.
• Supervise residential roofing installations, re-roofing projects, repairs, and select commercial projects.
• Coordinate daily field operations, crew assignments, subcontractors, and project schedules.
• Conduct jobsite visits to monitor progress, quality, safety, and production efficiency.
• Serve as the primary field contact for homeowners, customers, subcontractors, and installation crews.
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and jobsite logistics.
• Identify potential project challenges and proactively resolve field issues.
• Document jobsite conditions, scope changes, and additional work requirements.
• Prepare field documentation and support change order requests when necessary.
• Maintain consistent communication between field crews, production management, and office personnel.
• Ensure roofing installations meet company quality standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Promote a safe, organized, and professional jobsite environment.

Qualifications

• Strong residential roofing experience is required, including asphalt shingles, tile roofing, repairs, and re-roofing.
• Previous experience as a Roofing Superintendent, Field Supervisor, Roofing Foreman, or similar field leadership position.
• Proven ability to manage multiple active roofing projects and installation crews.
• Strong understanding of roofing installation techniques, materials, flashing details, waterproofing, and troubleshooting.
• Commercial roofing experience is a plus.
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors, materials, schedules, and jobsite logistics.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to identify potential problems and make informed decisions in the field.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• English proficiency required; Spanish communication skills strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely climb ladders, access roofs, and perform field inspections.
