Four Seasons Kanga Roof in Southeast Michigan is seeking a Sheet Metal Technician Foreman to lead a crew and ensure work meets our standards. You will start with a pre-job meeting with the Superintendent or PM, manage labor budgets, and confirm material needs throughout the day.

Must have 4+ years of sheet metal experience, ability to read work orders, and lift up to 50 lbs. This full-time role operates Monday–Friday, with consistent hours and on-site work, offering growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• 4+ years of sheet metal experience with roofing knowledge.
• Ability to lead a 3–5 person crew.
• Knowledge and skills to install metal roof systems.
• Able to read and understand work orders.
• Able to set up ladders and work on commercial/residential roofs.
• Able to work in hot and cold weather; lift up to 50 lbs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO DAILY:

As a Sheet Metal Technician Foreman, you will leave from your home and head to the assigned job site in Southeast Michigan. You will lead the crew and make sure all work meets Four Seasons Kanga Roof's standards. You will start with a pre-job meeting with the Superintendent or Project Manager to go over work orders, crew size, labor budgets, and material needs. Throughout the day, you will check that all safety standards follow OSHA guidelines, that the quality of work meets manufacturer specifications, and that materials are ready for the next step. You will talk regularly with the Sheet Metal Superintendent, Project Manager, general contractors, and building owners. Before leaving the job site, you will make sure the roof is watertight, the area is clean, and all tools and materials are secure. You will also take photos and add notes in the company's CRM system to record progress.

What We Need From You As A Sheet Metal Technician Foreman:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• 4+ years of sheet metal experience w/general roofing knowledge and skills
• Ability to run a 3 – 5 person crew effectively
• Knowledge and skills to install Metal Roof systems
• Competence with technology and ability to read and understand work orders
• Ability to set up ladders independently and work on commercial and residential roofs
• Capability to work in hot and cold weather and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
