Job summary

Spherion Gainesville is seeking two Roofing Technicians to join our service team. The roles involve estimating and repairing roofs across the Gainesville area, with a direct-hire, full-time commitment and a Monday–Friday schedule.

The ideal candidate has 1–4 years of roofing experience, a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel locally. OSHA and pre-employment drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-4 years roofing/roof repairs experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Familiarity with EPDM, PVC, low-slope, and metal/steep slope roofing systems.
• Ability to travel locally and rotate weekends as needed.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and OSHA reporting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Travel to local homes and businesses for estimating and repairs.
• Identify and repair roof leaks.
• Repair and install EPDM, PVC, low-slope, and metal roofing.
• Perform and document roof inspections and repairs.
• Complete daily paperwork and work orders.
• Use basic hand and power tools.
• Follow project instructions with attention to details.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Capable of working on rooftops, in attics, and using ladders.
