Job summary

Valcourt Exterior Building Services is seeking an experienced Roofing Service Manager to lead our commercial roofing service and repair division. This role oversees daily service operations, leads technicians, and drives safety, quality, revenue, and profitability.

The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of commercial roofing systems, strong estimating and operational leadership experience, and a proven ability to create a profitable service team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of commercial roofing industry experience.
• Two+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of roofing systems: TPO, EPDM, PVC, metal roofing.
• Ability to estimate repairs and prepare scopes of work and proposals.
• Proven ability to manage multiple crews and priorities safely.

Responsibilities

• Direct, schedule, and dispatch roofing service crews to maximize productivity.
• Recruit, train, and develop service department personnel.
• Conduct safety meetings and technical training.
• Monitor workloads and ensure timely service calls and maintenance.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safety on job sites.
• Prepare detailed estimates and pricing for repairs and PM agreements.
• Build strong customer relationships and manage maintenance contracts.
