Stella Construction & Home Services is hiring a Roofing Salesperson / Estimator to join our team serving Metro-North and Greater Boston. You will transform project documents into accurate, competitive bids for commercial and residential roofing, bridging clients, management, and field teams in a hybrid work setup.

We value detail-oriented professionals with strong numeric skills and roofing industry experience who can manage takeoffs, cost estimates, and timely proposals while collaborating

Qualifications

• 2+ years in construction estimation, roofing preferred.
• Experience in roofing, construction or related sales.
• Proficient with estimation software (BuilderTrend, Planswift) or similar.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints/specs to prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Assess scope, materials, labor, and equipment costs for bids.
• Generate professional proposals for roofing projects.
• Communicate with clients, PMs, and trades for scope and timelines.
• Assist project setup and monitor material costs to stay competitive.

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a keen eye for numbers and a deep understanding of roofing systems? We are seeking a skilled Roofing Salesperson / Estimator to play a pivotal role in our operations. You will be the crucial link between our clients, our management, and our field teams, transforming construction documents into accurate, competitive, and winning proposals for both commercial and residential roofing projects. This is a hybrid role, offering a blend of remote flexibility and in-office collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for a variety of roofing projects.
• Accurately assess project scope, materials, labor, and equipment costs to create detailed and competitive bids.
• Utilize industry-leading software to perform precise takeoffs and generate professional proposals.
• Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and tradespeople to clarify project needs, scope, and timelines.
• Assist with project setup and planning to ensure a smooth handoff from estimation to execution. Continuously monitor and source material costs and availability to ensure estimates remain current and competitive.

Qualifications

• Proven experience (2 or more years preferred) in construction estimation, specifically within the roofing industry.
• Previous roofing, construction, or other related sales experience
• Proficiency with construction management and estimation software such as BuilderTrend, Planswift, or similar programs.
• Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills with a relentless attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; you're confident and clear when dealing with clients and team members.
• A self-starter attitude with the ability to manage your own workload, as well as collaborate effectively as part of a team.
• A valid driver's license and a reliable form of transportation.

Compensation & Benefits

• Full-time position
• Salary plus bonus, earn $65,000 to $105,000
• Profit sharing.
• Health, Dental, and Vision insurance, 401(k), and Paid Time Off.
• A stable Monday-Friday schedule with occasional weekend work only as needed.
