Job summary

Capstone Roofing is seeking an experienced Roofing Sales Representative (Inside/Outside) to join the Santa Rosa team. This full-time, on-site role blends inside lead follow-up with field homeowner meetings to move roofing projects from interest to signed agreements.

You’ll follow up on warm leads, present estimates, inspect roofs, and provide professional in-home presentations. AccuLynx experience is a plus, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Residential roofing sales experience is highly preferred.
• Experience working directly with homeowners throughout the sales process.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to follow up with leads, overcome objections, and close sales.
• Comfortable with phone and face-to-face conversations.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Roofing Sales Representative (Inside/Outside) to join our Santa Rosa team. This is a unique sales position designed for someone who understands residential roofing, enjoys working directly with homeowners, and is equally comfortable closing opportunities over the phone and meeting customers in the field.

The position will be approximately 50% inside sales and 50% outside sales, providing the opportunity to work warm leads and existing opportunities while also meeting directly with homeowners and helping move roofing projects from initial interest through signed agreement.

What You'll Do

Inside Sales & Lead Follow-Up

• Follow up with warm leads and homeowners who have already received roofing estimates.
• Make outbound calls to existing opportunities and help move homeowners toward a decision.
• Re-engage homeowners who have not yet moved forward with their roofing project.
• Present estimates, answer questions, overcome objections, and close opportunities.
• Assist homeowners who visit the Capstone office.
• Present contracts and obtain signed agreements.
• Maintain consistent follow-up with homeowners throughout the sales process.

Outside Sales & Homeowner Meetings

• Meet with homeowners at their properties.
• Conduct residential roof inspections and identify roofing needs.
• Provide professional in-home sales presentations.
• Review roofing options, estimates, and project expectations with homeowners.
• Build strong relationships and provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Follow opportunities from the initial conversation through the signed contract.

CRM & Sales Management

• Maintain accurate customer information and sales activity within AccuLynx.
• Document calls, appointments, follow-ups, and customer communication.
• Maintain an organized sales pipeline and ensure opportunities do not fall through the cracks.
• Work closely with the Sales and Production teams to ensure a smooth customer handoff.

Qualifications

• Residential roofing sales experience is highly preferred
• Proven experience working directly with homeowners throughout the residential roofing sales process.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to follow up with leads, overcome objections, and close sales.
• Comfortable communicating with homeowners both over the phone and face-to-face.
• Comfortable working in both an office and field environment.
• Must be comfortable using ladders and walking residential roofs.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation and ability to carry a ladder.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and follow-up skills.
• Comfortable learning and utilizing CRM technology.
• AccuLynx experience is a plus.
• Self-motivated, coachable, competitive, and driven to achieve performance goals.
