Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers and contractors to review roofing, repair, gutter, and specialty projects.
• Inspect existing conditions, take measurements, photos, and notes for estimates.
• Review plans and project specifications when needed.
• Prepare estimates, proposals, and scopes of work.
• Explain proposed work and answer customer questions.
• Follow up on estimates and communicate with customers throughout the process.
• Work with the office and production team as accepted projects move forward.
• Identify additional work or changes in scope as projects progress.
• Keep job notes, photos, and customer information up to date.

About Us

Pinnacle Roofing & Exteriors, Inc. is an established roofing contractor based in Charlotte, NC. We specialize in residential roofing, repairs, slate, tile, cedar shake, metal and copper roofing, low-slope roofing, gutters, and specialty work.

Position

We are looking for a full-time Roofing Sales/Estimator to join our team. This position involves meeting with customers, evaluating roofing and exterior projects, determining the scope of work, and preparing accurate estimates and proposals.

Our Sales/Estimators stay involved with their projects as they move forward, working with homeowners, builders, contractors, our office, and production team throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers and contractors to look at roofing, repair, gutter, and specialty projects
• Inspect existing conditions and take measurements, photos, and notes needed to estimate the work
• Review plans, drawings, and project specifications when needed
• Prepare estimates, proposals, and scopes of work
• Explain proposed work and answer customer questions
• Follow up on estimates and communicate with customers throughout the process

• Identify additional work or changes in scope as projects progress
• Keep job notes, photos, and customer information up to date

Qualifications

• Roofing, construction, estimating, or related experience preferred
• Knowledge of residential roofing systems and repairs
• Ability to inspect a roof and determine appropriate repair or replacement options
• Ability to read plans and drawings
• Good measurement and basic math skills
• Comfortable working directly with homeowners, builders, and contractors
• Organized and able to manage multiple jobs at different stages
• Comfortable using computers, mobile apps, and job management software
• Valid driver's license
• Comfortable accessing roofs and working at heights

Experience with slate, tile, cedar shake, standing seam metal, copper, EPDM/TPO, gutters, or other specialty roofing systems is a plus.
