Chamberlin Roofing and Waterproofing is seeking an entry-level PE-I estimator to learn the full estimating process. You will perform field observations, onscreen estimating, proposal writing and detail reviews, while engaging with clients and industry associations.

As you develop a base knowledge, you will verify contract scopes and manage client relationships from start to finish, contributing to project success and growth of Chamberlin.

Qualifications

• Must have a four-year college degree or 2 years of college and 2 years Chamberlin experience.
• Or five years construction experience and/or professional sales and customer relations experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office and strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Field observations and inspections, onscreen estimating, proposal writing, detail review and client interactions.
• Association involvement and contract scope verification; manage client relationships and overall project engagement.

Position Description

• PE-I is the entry level estimator role.
• The PE-I will be engaged in the entire estimating process with the responsibility of learning each step of the Chamberlin process.
• Responsibilities include but are not limited to: field observations and inspections, onscreen estimating, proposal writing, detail review, client interactions and association involvement.
• As the PE-I develops a base knowledge they will be responsible for contract scope verification, client relationship and overall project engagement from start to finish.

Position Requirements

Experience: If applicant does not have a four-year degree, they must have a minimum of 2 years of college and 2 years Chamberlin experience or five years construction experience and/or professional sales and customer relations experience.

Skills: Microsoft office, English speaking, bilingual preferred

Abilities/Requirements:

• Ability to read and understand construction documents
• Familiarity with general construction items
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Problem solving and dispute resolution skills
• Strong work ethic/self-starter
• Negotiation and relationship building skills (sales ability)
• Career ambition to move up within Chamberlin
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be able to climb scaffolding, stairs, ladders (standing, stooping bending, lifting, etc.)
