Job summary

Tecta America Zero Company LLC in Ohio is seeking an in-office Project Engineer to support commercial roofing projects from startup through closeout. You will prepare submittals, warranty documents, and closeout packages, while providing administrative and technical support to Project Managers.

You must read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts, and be proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP software like Navision. CAD takeoffs and material coordination are also required.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial construction or roofing preferred.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Proficient with MS Office and ERP software (Navision).

Responsibilities

• Prepare submittals, RFIs, and closeout packages for submittals.
• Maintain warranty documentation and closeout records.
• Create and manage work orders and project packets in Navision.
• Assemble complete project packets with drawings, specs, safety info and docs.
• Perform roofing takeoffs using CAD software and project drawings.
• Support Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
