Qualifications

• Bachelor-level education not required; high school diploma with some college preferred.
• Proven ability to organize, communicate and follow through on tasks.
• Strong math skills for basic arithmetic and percentages.
• Fluent English communication and safety-conscious mindset.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shift personnel to meet production standards and specs.
• Assign/workflow, monitor progress, ensure on-time output and quality.
• Ensure proper job sequencing, setup, time cards and material flow.
• Identify and eliminate production variances; request maintenance when needed.
• Coordinate with related departments to enforce QC procedures.
• Utilize manpower and machinery efficiently; train new personnel.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe work practices.
• Recommend supplies and initiate requisitions.
• Prepare/maintain production records and reports.
• Suggest process improvements for cost savings.
• Handle employee grievances with supervision/HR as needed.
• Assist in periodic physical inventory and other duties as assigned.
• Monitor machinery for downtime and efficiency and act accordingly.
