RK Roofing & Construction Inc. is seeking a Roofing Foreman to lead Bay Area commercial and residential projects from the San Leandro location. You will guide field crews, ensure high-quality results, and help drive multi-state expansion.

This role blends on-site leadership with processes improvement and team development. The ideal candidate has significant roofing leadership experience, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to coordinate resources across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Journeyman or trade experience in roofing with demonstrated leadership.
• Experience installing pitched and low-slope roofing systems including single-ply, shingles, tile, and coatings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to report using business technology.
• Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2 to 3 Team Leads who supervise on-site roofing crews across project locations.
• Monitor work quality and crew productivity to align with schedules and specs.
• Troubleshoot on-site challenges including safety, materials flow, and installation quality.
• Oversee job time management and daily labor reports for accurate tracking and planning.
• Coordinate delivery schedules for equipment, materials, and subcontractors per project phase.
• Lead safety and technical training sessions to mentor and motivate field staff.
• Order and manage materials with suppliers and report daily to the office.

You will serve as an essential field leader guiding roofing crews across the San Francisco Bay Area and driving high-quality standards across commercial and residential builds. This role allows you to step off the roof to refine company processes, manage team leads, and directly influence our multi-state expansion. How You Will Make An Impact

• Manage 2 to 3 Team Leads who directly supervise on-site roofing crews across diverse project locations.
• Monitor overall work quality and crew productivity to ensure full alignment with project schedules and specs.
• Troubleshoot complex job-site challenges involving workers, safety protocols, material flow, and installation quality.
• Oversee job time management and daily labor reports to ensure accurate project tracking and resource planning.
• Coordinate delivery schedules for on-site equipment, materials, and specialized subcontractors for each project phase.
• Lead team safety and technical training sessions to mentor, motivate, and develop healthy field communication.
• Order and manage materials directly with suppliers while communicating daily operations updates to the main office.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant journeyman or trade experience in roofing construction with demonstrated leadership ability.
• Proven expertise in installing and managing pitched and low-slope roofing systems including single-ply, shingles, tile, and coatings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adopt business technology for reporting.
• Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• 5 or more years of related roofing and supervisory experience.
• Completion of a formal Trade Program or Technical Certification in roofing or construction management.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish a plus.
