RK Roofing & Construction Inc. is seeking a Roofing Foreman to lead Bay Area commercial and residential projects. You will guide roofing crews across multiple sites, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to schedules.

This role offers a path to influence company processes, manage team leads, and contribute to multi-state expansion. Compensation is based on experience and market norms.

Qualifications

• Journeyman or trade experience in roofing with leadership ability.
• Experience with pitched and low-slope roofing systems (shingles, single-ply, tile, coatings).
• Strong communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
• Valid California driver's license with clean driving record.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2–3 team leads supervising on-site roofing crews across multiple sites.
• Monitor work quality and crew productivity to meet schedules and specs.
• Troubleshoot site challenges around workers, safety, materials, and installation.
• Oversee job time management and daily labor reporting for tracking.
• Coordinate delivery schedules for equipment, materials, and subs.
• Lead safety and technical training to mentor and motivate the crew.
• Order and manage materials with suppliers and report to the office.

The Opportunity

You will serve as an essential field leader guiding roofing crews across the San Francisco Bay Area and driving high-quality standards across commercial and residential builds. This role allows you to step off the roof to refine company processes, manage team leads, and directly influence our multi-state expansion. You will join a fast-growing, highly structured company that values craftsmanship and compensates accordingly.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Manage 2 to 3 Team Leads who directly supervise on-site roofing crews across diverse project locations.
• Monitor overall work quality and crew productivity to ensure full alignment with project schedules and specs.
• Troubleshoot complex job-site challenges involving workers, safety protocols, material flow, and installation quality.
• Oversee job time management and daily labor reports to ensure accurate project tracking and resource planning.
• Coordinate delivery schedules for on-site equipment, materials, and specialized subcontractors for each project phase.
• Lead team safety and technical training sessions to mentor, motivate, and develop healthy field communication.
• Order and manage materials directly with suppliers while communicating daily operations updates to the main office.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant journeyman or trade experience in roofing construction with demonstrated leadership ability.
• Proven expertise in installing and managing pitched and low-slope roofing systems including single-ply, shingles, tile, and coatings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adopt business technology for reporting.
• Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• 5 or more years of related roofing and supervisory experience.
• Completion of a formal Trade Program or Technical Certification in roofing or construction management.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish a plus.
