• Strong ability reading construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for completing detailed and itemized material quantity estimates from owner or contractor furnished plan sets.
• Prepare quotations from architectural drawings.
• Perform clerical duties associated with keeping up filing and job folders.
• Read construction blue prints, drawings, plans and specifications and prepare estimates.
• Gather and calculate take-off data from a digital take-off program.
• Build and retain relationships with vendors.
• Ensure thoroughness of estimates and help with ease of construction by field operations.
• Keep and track bid schedule.
