Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Roof & Wall Estimator to support internal and external customers by creating take-offs and detailed material lists using company tools. The role focuses on timely, accurate pricing for publicly bid projects and requires clear communication with various teams.

The ideal candidate brings strong math and blueprint interpretation, proficiency with estimating software and Excel, and a customer-centric mindset.

Qualifications

• Must understand project specifications and contract drawings.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and customer drawings.
• Proficient with Estimating Takeoff applications and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates from drawings, specs, and addenda.
• Identify exclusions and missing information for scope clarification.
• Request adds/deducts for pricing beyond current tools.
• Use current pricing information for estimates.
• Maintain vendor/customer relationships.
• Coordinate with Builders, Sales, Customer Service, and Engineering.
• Communicate scope/design clarifications as needed.
• Travel up to 2 times per year or less.
