What You’ll Be Doing:

As a General Laborer/Roofer, you’ll work directly under the supervision of our experienced Production Foreman. Your role will be hands-on, assisting with various physical labor tasks that are essential to successful roofing projects:

• Assist Skilled Workers: Help with tasks such as removing old roofing, unloading and distributing materials, and general construction activities.
• Learn the Trade: Receive training on roofing installation methods for different building types and roofing systems, including TPO, PVC, EPDM, and more.
• Prepare and Maintain: Measure, mark, and prepare areas for construction, and ensure tools and materials are ready for skilled workers. You’ll also help maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work with Safety in Mind: Adhere to Safety/OSHA guidelines, and participate in training to ensure you’re always working in the safest way possible.
• Grow Your Skills: Learn to use hand and power tools, assist with snow and debris removal from roofs, and help with the installation of vapor barriers, insulation, and roofing systems.

• Basic communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• A willingness to learn, work hard, and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to work at heights and climb ladders.
• Reliability and punctuality to support the team and meet deadlines.

Education and Experience:

• Must be 18 years of or older.
• OSHA 10 certification (provided by Nations Roof).
• Additional safety or manufacturer certifications are a plus.
