Job summary

M&M Home Remodeling Services (Allstar Services) is seeking a Roofing and Exterior Repair Lead in Crete, IL and Arlington Heights, IL. This hands-on leadership role will guide projects, diagnose issues, and ensure quality workmanship across roofing, siding, and exterior repairs.

You will manage 1–2 crew members, handle calls and repairs, and coordinate with homeowners and field superintendents for timely completion.

Qualifications

• 2+ years exterior remodeling experience (roofing, siding, windows).
• Strong on-site troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Experience with repairs and service work, not only installs.
• Ability to lead small crews or work independently.

Responsibilities

• Run service calls and repair jobs (leaks, damage, warranty work).
• Diagnose issues across roofing, siding, windows, and gutters.
• Perform repairs on shingles, metal, siding systems, and windows.
• Lead small crews (1–2 people) and keep jobs moving.
• Communicate directly with homeowners and field superintendents.
• Document jobs with photos and notes; track materials.
• Perform final quality checks before closing out jobs.

Roofing and Exterior Repair Lead (Service Tech Project Manager)

If you've been doing roofing, siding, or exterior repairs and are ready to lead jobs instead of just being another installer, this is a strong next step.

We're hiring 3-4 experienced Project Managers Repair Leads / Service Technicians to handle call backs, repairs, and service work across roofing, siding, gutters, windows, and doors.

This is a hands-on leadership role - you'll be the person on-site solving problems and getting the job done right.

What You'll Be Doing

• Run service calls + repair jobs (leaks, damage, warranty work)
• Diagnose issues across roofing, siding, windows, and gutters
• Perform repairs on asphalt shingles, metal, siding systems, and windows
• Lead small crews (1-2 people) and keep jobs moving
• Communicate directly with homeowners + Field Superintendents
• Complete job documentation (photos, notes, materials)
• Perform final quality checks before closing out jobs

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of exterior remodeling experience (roofing, siding, windows)
• Strong troubleshooting skills - you can figure it out on-site
• Experience with repairs/service work (not just installs)
• Comfortable leading a small crew or working independently
• Ability to work on ladders, roofs, and in all weather conditions
• Able to lift 75 lbs and handle physical work daily
• Valid driver's license + clean driving record
