Job summary

Deer Park Roofing, Inc. seeks a proactive Business Development / Sales professional to create leads that convert into closed sales from new and existing customers.

This role enhances the company's visibility by engaging in social media and reviews through the Crowther development department and coordinates bid schedules with surveyors and estimators. The candidate will attend pre-bid meetings, inspect roofing conditions, retrieve measurements, and advise on repair, maintenance, and restoration

Qualifications

• High school graduate required; college degree preferred.
• Construction related degree or five years’ experience in construction business development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management, sales and service to establish and maintain a list of new and existing customers.
• Establish pending verbal commitments and project pipelines.
• Utilize integrator as necessary for work order creation and necessary communication input.
• Report weekly plan and accomplishments to appropriate managers.
• Know and articulate company capabilities to customers.
• Stay current with varying lead times to respond to service and new construction opportunities.
• Present prequalified sales leads to management and collaborate with sales, ops and service teams.
• Support initial sales proposals to clients and, upon closure, manage turnover to the sales team.
• Schedule sold and scoped service jobs with the Service/Operations Manager; review contracts for discrepancies.
• Review and understand proposals for re-roofing scopes of work.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with follow-up calls; provide customer feedback to sales.
• Attend Roof Check Inspections as required and assist in approval of Roof Check Inspection Reports and Renewals.
• Work with Management to meet and communicate customer needs versus company capabilities.
