Job summary

Hancock Claims Consultants is seeking a RoofField Inspector to join our independent contractor network. You will assess steep and high roofs, evaluate exterior and interior damage, and conduct underwriting property inspections to support claims resolution.

Candidates should have experience with roofing/insurance claims as a plus, possess a reliable vehicle capable of transporting a 32’ ladder, and be prepared to obtain a lidar device. Proficiency in MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be able to navigate and inspect steep/high roofs safely.
• Strong technical ability to complete inspections in varied weather.
• Demonstrates professionalism and attention to detail.
• Empathetic when dealing with insureds; communication skills.
• Roofing/construction background or insurance claims experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on steep/high roofs ( exterior & interior damage ).
• Perform underwriting property inspections during claims process.
