Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking Home Building Team Members to support our manufacturing operations in the home building process. This role follows standard production methods, ensuring homes meet sales orders, prints, specifications, and building codes, while maintaining high quality and timely delivery.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and efficiency, with opportunities to transfer across departments and grow within a values-driven organization committed to attainable housing and work-life

Qualifications

• Versatility to transfer into various departments when necessary.
• Ability to walk, climb, and lift at least 50 lbs and perform other physical duties.
• Clear communication with team members.
• Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings is highly desired.
• Ability to stand or walk 8 hours; bending, squatting, and stooping required.
• Lift above shoulder level and reach to floor using proper techniques.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits and follow OSHA regulations.
• Work in a team to meet quality standards and productivity goals.
• Serve as steward of company assets, keep area clean and orderly; report maintenance needs.
• Assist Team Leader and Area Coordinator to plan and organize manufacturing activities.
• Meet attendance requirements and be available for start of shift as scheduled.
