Job summary

Clayton is seeking Home Building Team Members to perform production operations across departments in the home building process. The role emphasizes safe work habits and standard production practices in line with OSHA regulations.

You will work in a team to meet quality and productivity goals, safeguard assets, and assist leaders in planning manufacturing activities while communicating shortages and maintenance needs. Additional duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Willingness to transfer across departments.
• Clear and effective communication.
• Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits to ensure production is efficient and safe while observing OSHA regulations.
• Work in a team environment to produce products that conform to our quality standards while achieving our productivity objectives.
• Serve as a good steward of our company’s physical assets, protecting them from damage and misuse, reporting all needed maintenance, keeping assigned areas clean and orderly.
• Assist Team Leader and Area Coordinator to plan and organize the manufacturing activities in your area by communicating anticipated material shortages, identifying required tool maintenance, and communicating any quality and productivity issues.
• Perform other duties assigned.
