Job summary

Clayton is seeking Home Building Team Members to perform manufacturing production operations in the home building process. The role follows standard production methods and safety practices to maximize efficiency and safety.

You will be part of a team focused on producing products that meet quality standards while achieving productivity goals, with duties including assisting in planning, material coordination, and maintaining clean, safe work areas on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Versatility and willingness to transfer into various departments when necessary.
• Clear and effective communication.
• Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings greatly desired.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits to ensure production is efficient and safe while observing all relevant OSHA regulations.
• Work in a team environment to produce products that conform to our quality standards while achieving our productivity objectives.
• Serve as a good steward of our company’s physical assets, protecting them from damage and misuse, reporting all needed maintenance, keeping assigned areas clean and orderly.
• Assist Team Leader and Area Coordinator to plan and organize the manufacturing activities in your area by communicating anticipated material shortages, identifying required tool maintenance, and communicating any quality and productivity issues.
• Perform other duties assigned.
