Job summary

Lovestruck Books & Cafe in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Digital Engagement Coordinator to manage digital communities, craft engaging content, and be the friendly voice across our social channels.

You will collaborate with the Events/Marketing team to partner with authors, publishers, and influencers, while driving social campaigns that celebrate romance and community in-store and online.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience managing social media, digital communities, or influencer relations.
• Deep passion for books, publishing, and the romance genre.
• Hands-on experience with Instagram, Threads, TikTok, Meta Business Suite, and social listening/management tools.
• Exceptional short-form writing with a warm, conversational voice.
• Available to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Able to lift and push 50+ pounds as required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, mentions, and inquiries across Instagram, TikTok, Threads, Facebook, LinkedIn, and website channels; engage the community in LSBC voice.
• Drive conversations on Threads, BookTok, Reddit, and other platforms; stay on trend with romance discussions.
• Coordinate with Events/Marketing to partner with authors, VIPs, and publishers for social campaigns.
• Create and publish organic short-form videos (Reels/TikToks), live streams, and trend-focused content; advise on paid opportunities.
