Job summary

FCC Environmental Services, LLC in Roseville, CA is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform repairs and maintenance on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment, including diagnostics and preventive maintenance, to ensure uptime and safety.

Must have 3–10 years of experience, welding experience, a valid driver's license; ASE Diesel Certification is a plus. Competitive pay from $26.50 to $38 per hour DOE plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school or GED equivalent (Preferred).
• 3–10 years experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
• Welding experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ase Diesel Certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor and major repairs on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance on commercial vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Maintain parts inventory, cleanliness in the shop and service vehicles.
• Collaborate with maintenance team to diagnose problems and plan repairs.
• Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks and heavy equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of each repair in the CMMS.
• Diagnose and replace defective parts.
• Maintain neat and organized work area.
