FCC Environmental Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain trucks and heavy machinery, perform diagnostics, and ensure uptime for a broad fleet.

The role requires 3–10 years of experience, welding skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds; ASE Diesel Certification is a plus. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3 - 10 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
• Welding experience is preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent reading and writing skills.
• ASE Diesel Certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor and major repairs on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance on commercial vehicles and heavy equipment including inspection and preventative maintenance repairs.
• Maintain parts inventory and shop cleanliness; service vehicles.
• Collaborate with maintenance team to diagnose problems and plan repairs.
• Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks and heavy equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of each repair performed in the CMMS.
• Diagnose and replace defective parts.
• Maintain neat and organized work area.

Position Summary

Our team is currently looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to keep up our level of commitment to safety and customer service. In this role, the successful candidate will perform heavy equipment, small, medium, and large truck repair, and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards. This would include but not limited to running diagnostics on equipment, work closely with other team members to meet company goals, and ensure uptime of production equipment is acheived. Our equipment consists of Caterpillar, Komatsu, Ford, Kenworth, Peterbilt, Komptech, Vermeer, Tigercat, Freightliner, Bobcat, Sennebogen, Rotochopper, Vector, and Volvo. Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform minor and major repairs on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment

• Maintain neat and organized work area

Education

• High school or GED equivalent (Preferred)

Experience and Competencies

• 3 - 10 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic
• Welding experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent reading and writing skills
• ASE Diesel Certification is an asset

Pay Rate

$26.50 -$38 DOE
