FCC Environmental Services, LLC seeks a Senior Maintenance Technician for the Roseville, CA facility to perform preventative maintenance and repair of fixed equipment in our Material Recovery Facility and C&D Waste Facility. The role requires diagnosing mechanical problems, performing repairs, and maintaining equipment to maximize safe, productive operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school certificate preferred.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with hydraulic/pneumatic systems, PLC troubleshooting, welding, and conveyors.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems using manuals and charts.
• Repair and maintain recycling and C&D equipment for safe, productive operations.
• Replace belts, motors, hydraulic cylinders, and other parts as needed.
• Maintain inventories and purchase parts; fabricate repair components.
• Work with torch cutting, welding, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems as required.
• Adhere to safety policies and work at heights with elevated platforms.

We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.**Position Summary:**Under the direct supervision of the Plant Maintenance Manager, the Plant Mechanic is responsible for the complete Plant preventative maintenance and scheduled repairs of the fixed equipment supported in the Material Recovery Facility and C&D (Construction and Demolition) Waste Facility**Primary Duties and Responsibilities****:*** Diagnose or troubleshoot mechanical problems using charts, technical manuals and expertise.* Performs repairs and maintenance on recycling equipment and C&D equipment to maximize safe and productive operations.* Replaces conveyor belts, electrical motors, hydraulic cylinders and other mechanical parts.* Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.* Use hand tools, power tools and electrical tools.* Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.* Able to cut with torch and weld.* May repair and install plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems.* Follows all safety policies and procedures.* Able to work on heights using Aerial Working Platform (boom lift, scissor lifts etc.)* Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.**Job Qualifications****Education:*** High school diploma or G.E.D.**Experience and Competencies:*** At least 5+ years of industrial experience, training, or a combination* Proficient on hydraulic and pneumatic system troubleshooting and repair* Proficient in PLC troubleshooting and problem-solving ability with practical, mechanical and electrical aptitude.* Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.* Proficient with OXY/Acet torch* Proficient in all welding processes* Proficient in all conveyer system repairs* Ability to work independently with minimum supervision* CMMS software experience preferred* Valid driver’s license.* Mechanical or trade school certificate.* High school diploma or G.E.D.* At least 5+ years of industrial experience, training, or a combination* Must be willing to work any shift & some weekends**Pay*** $35-$40 DOE**Benefits*** Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)* Retirement Plan (401k, IRA)* Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)* Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)* Short-Term & Long-Term Disability* Training & Development*FCC Environmental Services, LLC operates in a multicultural, global environment and is a richly diverse organization operating seamlessly as one company.
