Siemens Mobility Inc. Rolling Stock is offering a Rolling Stock Project Management Intern position based at our California facility near Sacramento.

This long‑term internship lets you work part-time during the school year (about 20 hours/week) and full‑time during breaks, including summer, while you study. You will join the Amtrak Intercity Trainsets ICT/Airo project, learn to lead large projects, coordinate with multiple departments, and develop design improvements, technical docs, and

Qualifications

• Current junior or senior pursuing a BA/BS in Engineering or Project Management.
• Availability about 20 hours per week during the year and 40 hours per week during school breaks.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.
• Prior internship or co-op experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, writing, presentation and critical‑thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in internal and external meetings for the projects.
• Work with Project Managers and Engineers on design improvements and technical documentation.
• Support implementation and supply of materials for design changes.
• Monitor and document Coach production progress.
• Help track and guide materials supply to the production floor.
• Write field modifications and test procedures.
• Create Tableau and reports that benefit the project.
