TECHSPEC INC in Derry, PA is seeking a Hot Working Laborer to assist in the operations of the rolling mill, heat-treating area, and conditioning area. This full-time position includes 10-hour shifts and pays $19/hour, with potential weekend work.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, manufacturing experience is preferred, and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. A hiring bonus of $2,000 is also offered for this role.

Position: Full-time. Shift hours: 10-hour shifts, 5 days per week. Occasional weekends. Shift work daylight, afternoon, or midnight.

Pay rate: $19/hour.

Job Summary

The Hot Working Laborer position will assist as needed in the day-to-day operations of the rolling mill, the heat-treating area, and the conditioning area. The position requires standing for long periods of time.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

• Manual lifting, manipulation of high temperature titanium bars using tongs and other hot-working tools.
• Furnace loading/unloading.
• Maintain and follow all applicable safety protocols.
• Maintain material and bar location identifications.
• Forklift operation.
• Guide set-up and tooling changes.
• Manual operation of bar conditioning tools.
