B&B Manufacturing, LLC., a Solve IMG company, in Indiana seeks a Roller Operator to press and inspect components per engineering and quality standards. You will work with Assemblers to maintain production levels and keep a clean, organized warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 1+ year machine operation experience, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and proficiency with calipers and micrometers; safety and quality are emphasized in daily duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of machine operation experience.
• Ability to lift, push & pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Ability to use calipers and dial indicators.

Responsibilities

• Actively administer job plans and procedures
• Operate & assist with best operating practices for use of MHE
• Utilize measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers
• Solid understanding of measurements, drawings and the corresponding application
• Produce high quality product, in line with the set hourly metrics
• Set-up, operate and troubleshoot assigned machine
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Sr. Ops. Manager, the Roller Operator is responsible for pressing and checking componenets based on engineering and quality standards and that satisfy our customer’s requirements. Working in tandem with the Assemblers, the Operator will ensure proper production levels are met, while always maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
