Job summary

Solve Industrial Motion Group in Indiana is seeking a Roller Operator to press and inspect components to engineering and quality standards. You will work with Assemblers to meet production targets while keeping the warehouse organized and safe.

The role requires good communication, accuracy with measurement tools, and the ability to set up and troubleshoot machines. Prior machine operation experience and a high school diploma are expected; physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and use basic hand

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent
  • 1+ year of machine operation work experience
  • Solid understanding of measurements, drawings and their corresponding application
  • Ability to lift, push & pull up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to use basic hand tools
  • Ability to use calipers and dial indicators.

Responsibilities

  • Actively administer job plans and procedures
  • Operate & assist with the use of MHE, in alignment with company best practices
  • Utilize measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers
  • Produce high-quality product, in line with the set hourly metrics
  • Set-up, operate and troubleshoot assigned machines
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Sr. Ops. Manager, the Roller Operator is responsible for pressing and checking components based on engineering and quality standards that satisfy our customer’s requirements. Working in tandem with the Assemblers, the Operator will ensure proper production levels are met, while always maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
