Job summary

Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials is seeking a Process Attendant for our Midlothian, TX plant. You will inspect and lubricate machinery, collect measurements and samples, and assist the Pyro Process Operator and other process teams as needed.

The role requires reading and following maintenance manuals, operating forklifts and related equipment, and working in all weather conditions. Competitive wages, overtime opportunities, and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Able to read, write and verbally communicate in English.
Must read and understand operations and maintenance manuals, drawings, and schematics.
Able to operate forklift, skid steer loader, and man-lift.
Able to sit, stand, stoop, and bend for extended periods (up to 12 hrs).
Walk on uneven or slippery surfaces and climb stairs/ ladders up to 200 feet.

Responsibilities

Inspects and lubricates plant machinery.
Assist Pyro Process Operator as needed to maintain equipment function.
Perform inspections on Roller Mill system and raw feed systems; document status.
Assist Tower Attendant to remove plugs/build-ups.
Shoot coating or other build-ups in kiln via kiln gun.
Assist with kiln repairs as needed.
Other duties as directed by supervisor.
