Job summary

Quikrete is seeking an Equipment Operator at our Cleveland, TX plant to support daily production by operating equipment and performing general plant tasks.

You will inspect work areas, perform basic maintenance, complete welding and fabrication tasks as needed, and identify safety hazards to keep the operation running smoothly. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of equipment experience and good mechanical knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating equipment (loader, haul truck, water truck, skid steer).
• General mechanical knowledge.
• Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in support of daily plant production.
• Inspect plant areas and perform basic maintenance, repairs, and screen changes.
• Complete welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
• Identify safety hazards or equipment issues and respond appropriately.
