Job summary

Laitram Machinery, Inc. is seeking a Roller Fabricator to support sheet metal fabrication activities. The role involves following schedules, operating extrusion-related equipment, handling rollers, and maintaining inventory accuracy at the Harahan facility.

You will gain experience across various roller operations, including sanding, blasting, and painting, while contributing to quality checks and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing environments is required or preferred.
• Familiarity with welding, machining, sheet metal and carpentry is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Follow manufacturing schedule and work orders.
• Operate and set up equipment to fabricate rollers.
• Inspect parts and replace out-of-spec components.
• Maintain clean work area and comply with safety procedures.
• Cross-train on additional roller operations.
• Complete transactions in manufacturing software with accuracy.
