Job summary

Unifoil in Fairfield, NJ is hiring a Roll-to-Roll Production Technician to operate laminators, sheeters and slitters on full-time shifts. You'll work with a helper on large production lines, follow SOPs, and monitor equipment for quality and output.

We value reliability, safety, attention to detail, and the willingness to learn new laminating processes. Overtime is available to meet production goals and shifts may vary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to overtime as needed.
• Eagerness to learn laminating, sheeting, and slitting equipment.
• Comfort around large industrial machinery.

Responsibilities

• Safely start, run, monitor, and shut down equipment per work orders and SOPs.
• Watch machine controls and perform basic adjustments.
• Coordinate with helper to stage materials and keep production moving.
• Inspect materials and finished goods for defects; verify outputs meet specs.
• Document production counts, material usage, downtime, and related data.
• Identify unusual noises or conditions; stop equipment and notify supervision/maintenance.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow PPE and safety policies.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, quality, maintenance, helpers, and operators.
• Overtime to support production needs when available.
