Job summary

Mittera is seeking Roll Tenders to join our pressroom team in Pineville, NC. You will work with Press Operators and Assistants to keep roll paper stock ready, assist during make-readies, and ensure efficient production. A focus on accuracy and safety is essential.

Required is a High School Diploma or GED with 1–3 years of press experience preferred, plus strong reading, math, and communication skills. This role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verify roll inventory number against job ticket.
• Record roll numbers and weight on roll log sheet.
• Prep rolls for splicer and stage rolls in appropriate location.
• Move rolls into position and hang rolls in splicer.
• Check oil levels and fluids; monitor for leaks.
• Return paper to inventory after each job.
• Complete paperwork at end of each job and shift.
• Support Lead Operator and participate in continuous improvement.
